Vegas Neon
I don't know what it is about decaying relics of Americana, but I love 'em. Can't get enough of 'em.In college, some friends and I hopped a spikey fence in order to get a closer look at a 1950s-era nursery rhyme-themed amusement park that had been closed for over 15 years. It was creepy and awesome.
Anyway, I just read this morning in the most recent issue of RollingStone that there's an outdoor museum in Las Vegas called The Boneyard, which showcases classic neon signs from the city's past. If only I had known about this place when I was there last year, I totally would've assembled a posse and made an appointment (they only do tours for groups of 10 or more).

Oh yeah that's my sort of thing also. I must make a note of that for my next trip to Vegas. What am I saying, I've never BEEN to Vegas.
There's an old airplane graveyard in Arizona I want to check out also. Near Tucson I think.
